With the emergence of various new materials, technologies, and processes, the use of double-layer thick steel plate thermoforming in the field of medical equipment casing manufacturing has opened a new chapter for the structural products of hospital medical equipment casings. Therefore, it is necessary to explore the relevant basic prerequisites of hospital medical equipment casing thick steel plate thermoforming products and consider ways to improve the manufacturing process of medical equipment casings to enhance the quality of hospital medical equipment casing products. Thick Plate Thermoforming Improving the manufacturing process to enhance the quality of hospital medical equipment casing products.
1. Element Analysis of Hospital Outpatient Medical Equipment Casing Design
(1) Geometric shape and precision. The geometric dimensions of the thermoformed casing include: the specifications from the cutting surface to the forming surface of the thermoformed product, and the specifications from the cutting surface to the cutting surface. These are simultaneously related to the plate thickness, material properties, and forming process.
(2) Demolding angle. The thermoforming mold consists of a concave mold and a mold base with different demolding angles. Generally, the demolding angle of the concave mold is 0.5o-1o, and the demolding angle of the mold base is 2o-5o.
(3) Casing arc. Thick Plate Thermoforming The casing should be designed with as large an arc as possible, it should not be designed with an inclined angle and should be tangent processed to ensure that the stress field of the thick plate thermoformed casing product is appropriate.
(4) Width-depth ratio. The width-depth ratio of the medical equipment casing thermoformed product is an important indicator for considering the difficulty of thermoforming, representing the ratio of the total width to the depth of the product. A larger value indicates that the thermoforming of the product is easier, while a smaller value indicates that the thermoforming of the product will be more difficult.
2. Defect Analysis in the Manufacturing Process of Hospital Medical Equipment Casing Thick Steel Plate Thermoforming
(1) Partial product deformation. The main reasons for the problem of partial product deformation in the thick steel plate thermoforming of casings include: poor plasticity of the plate material; insufficient mechanical pump between the plate material and the plastic mold; excessive elongation of the plate material; and slightly low mold operating temperature.
(2) Surface color defects of the product. The key factors causing surface color defects in the equipment include: insufficient heating; excessive heating; and low mold heating temperature, resulting in significant color deviation of the product.
(3) Air mark defects of the product. The key factors causing air mark defects in the product include: insufficient operating temperature of the mold and plate material; poor mold temperature control; and deviations in the forming process.
