Automated thermoforming of thick sheets is particularly suitable for mass production, with the entire process from raw materials to finished products automated, resulting in high efficiency and stable quality. However, the size of the products is limited by the machine, and only products within a specified size range can be produced. Manual forming methods are relatively simple, but they are inefficient and labor-intensive. In addition to the different forming methods, thick sheet thermoforming is also divided into thermosetting and thermoplastic types. The difference is that the latter can be repeatedly produced, while the former does not have this characteristic, which is mainly related to the characteristics of the materials used.
